Uncle Lee asked me : How Life Is Treating Me!!!

Uncle Lee of “A Moonlight Rendezvous” respond to one of my comment on his story ask me the following question: How life is treating you??? In fact I have been asking the same question over and over again but come to no prevail( at least I do not have any single answer that is able to convince myself!!)

I do not know how life is treating me…I only know to continue with the life I am committed. This life may not be the one that I want to be but surely was the only one I committed and continue to live with! I am not pessimistic about my way of life but try to be realistic because there are a lot of decisions to choose in one’s life but only one that you have chosen and decided to live with it. I knew not all people will agree with me because our life is our own destiny, not others. Yes! I do agree however the fact is not always the true and it simply not within our control. Some decision in life you are not able to reverse or the price is too high to pay if you choose to reverse your decision.

Let go back to answer Uncle Lee question: How life is treating me?? Well! Uncle Lee, life is treating me the way it should be, not perfect but yet manageable. From the beginning, when I start my journey a board, I adopted a very simple life…..a life that put me out of temptation, a life that as simple as the local, as routine as the time of clock….!!! But this is the life I choose and I have make sure that I live with it well, enjoy it well and most important accepting the faith and committed to it.

Hi Coketie...hey, I like that picture....beautiful.
Re your answer, my question, ha ha...

Coketie....just live your life with no excuses, love with no regrets....our life today is not a dress rehearsal....
As you walk down the Fairway of life, you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.

You know Coketie....when I was in my late teens, had nothing to do one weekend, rode my bike to KL Sungei Besi airport....back in the 60's, and sat and watch the planes leaving and arriving.

I then saw a young man, well dressed, a nice briefcase in his hand, a beautiful lady walking beside him holding his arm.

I had never been on a plane and wondered what it was like to fly in one.

I then told myself that day, 'I want to be like that man, fly and a beautiful girl beside me', ha ha.

And Coketie...I made my objective....to reach for the stars, be somebody in life....to live life in the fast lane.

And I can tell you, I made a lot of sacrificies, staying all over the 6 corners of the country, hotels my second home...blood, sweat and tears....but I made it.

I also told myself....I don't want to grow old, then bang my forehead and say, "Cheh! Why didn't I do it"!

So Coketie....treat your life as how you want it....the world is at your feet....but have fun same time.

Thanks for the mention, and best regards, you keep well, Lee.
